Up and Running

New 80 gig hard drive and we are good to go. Apparently there's a new virus going around and somehow I contracted it. The virus kills your HD at sector 0 and basically puts it out of commission. Be careful. More updates to come...

Live from class...

Another update, still no word on HD today. Parents are arriving in London as far as I know. Be back later with another update.

Interesting

I got home this morning around midnight. Started working on my computer to only find out the HD is completely dead. I tried to reformat and reinstall Windows XP, but the software kept telling me that the HD had bad sectors and could not continue. I'm in the process of purchasing a new 80gig HD for around 50 bucks after rebate. Perhaps I can get that in and installed by Friday.

My parents leave tonight for Europe, more specifically London. They look like they are going to have fun.

Right now I'm at school about to do some homework that I have for my night class tonight. All of my upcoming updates will be from here until otherwise noticed. I'm in the process of finishing some paper work for this summer which I need to get done by tomorrow and sent out.

I was reading in Psalm 73 today. Asaph says that he desires God more than anything on earth. I struggle with that. I'm disappointed in myself that I do not have that same desire, but I want it. It's amazing for me to even think what my life would be like if that verse 25 was true for myself.

Until next time...

Here at the 'rents...again

Had to come back home tonight to pickup some forms for this summer. Stupid me forgot to grab them this weekend. Sunday night went well, I really am looking forward to the discussion over these disciplines. Hopefully I can detail some more about these disciplines soon for all you viewers. Perhaps we can dispell some myths about disciplines and why they are necessary for the seeker in us all.

Speaking of seeking, we all are. Admit it! We are all seeking something in life. Some fame, others infamy. I just hope that all you visitors can make yourself at home while I detail some of the seeking in me.

Grrrr...

Hard Drive crashed again this morning. Second time in two months. I think I have a corrupt boot drive, some say it's a virus but I don't think so. My HD likes to randomly get stuck and cycle causing kernal errors. Hopefully I can pickup a new HD in the next couple of weeks and get everything back and running. The major issue is school work, now I'll be spending most of my days in the computer lab getting stuff done. Well hopefully everything will settle soon, updates will hopefully continue.

Laters...

Dreary Morning

Cold, Rainy, not exactly your greatest day to walk out to. Woke up with my head hurting, that stinks. Gotta get some stuff organized here to see what will happen tonight. Have a good one.

Sunday Swing

It's been a great day so far. Woke up, Easter Service, lunch with the fam, pictures with the fam, and now some rest and relaxation before Bible Study. I started reading our book, Celebration of Discipline. I really enjoy it so far. The book does require some patience while reading as it is definitely on a higher level than most. Arguably the most striking thing so far is his parallel use of obedience and legalism. In not so many words, he does a beautiful job of outlining what each is and how we should live. Richard J. Foster is the author and I look forward to finishing the first discipline in a few here.

Tonight we are doing a little something different. I may have not told you all yet, but I do play the guitar and sing for our group. Katie, my girlfriend, will be helping out tonight. She has a beautiful voice and hopefully we can couple our talents in bringing people to a place of worship. I'm so looking forward to the rest of the night and what God has in store.

After the study, I'll be heading back to my apartment to start another week of classes. This upcoming Tuesday, my parents are leaving for Europe. They will be gone for 7 days and they should have a blast. Hopefully I'll have some pictures of Europe for you all.

Until later...

Saturday Laziness

Well it's Saturday, and it's being occupied with lots of random laziness. Woke up, fixed my dad and I some waffles...boy were they good. Been watching some random TV, namely reruns of the World Series of Poker. Fun show to watch, gets me itching for some poker action.

Last night, I watched the Braves. Was disappointing to see Smoltzy give up the homer in the 9th to blow the save, and even more disappointing to see them lose in 15 innings. Oh well, perhaps tonight they can pull it out.

Coming up:
Masters
Taxes
Pizza
and perhaps something else if I get the itching for it...

Have a good one

Here at the 'rents

Made it to the parent's house. Watched the last of the Matrix Trilogy. Was a pretty good movie, I kept wondering throughout the movie about how everything would play out. Interesting indeed. Other than that, not much going on. Plan to hang out tonight and watch the Braves.

Hopefully soon I'll be posting some pictures of random things that happen to cross my path.

Things to look forward to this Sunday :
1) Some TV watching
2) Relaxing time with Family
3) Hopefully some home cooking
4) Great time @ church on Sunday
5) Bible Study Sunday night

Good Friday

Morning, or afternoon depending on where you are. Today is Good Friday, hope it's good for you. I'm about to head back to my parent's house for the weekend to spend some time with them. Hope you all have a great day!
